Privacy Policy

Nestly Family Hub (“Nestly,” “we,” “us,” or “our") is built around one idea: your family's information belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, who can see it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, family member names, profile photos, calendar events, tasks, lists, reminders, notes, meal plans, recipes, and health records. We also collect information created automatically when you use Nestly, including device type, app version, log information, and crash reports to help us improve the app.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve Nestly's features.
  • Connect family members and caregivers within your family hub.
  • Power Tell Nestly, including understanding plain-language input so it can be turned into tasks, events, lists, reminders, and notes.
  • Keep your data synchronized across the devices you use.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.

3. How information is shared

Information you add to Nestly is shared only with the people you choose to connect to your family hub. Parents and guardians control who joins and what each person can see. We do not sell your personal information or your family's information to advertisers or data brokers.

We work with a small number of service providers who help us run Nestly, such as cloud hosting and authentication services. These providers are only allowed to use your information to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.

4. Children's privacy

Nestly is designed for families. Children can join a family hub through a parent-managed invite code, without needing their own email address. Parents control what children can see and do inside the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 outside of a parent-created family account.

5. Data security

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to help protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You can help keep your account safe by choosing a strong password and keeping your family invite code private.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your family hub is active or as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account or ask us to remove your data, we will delete or anonymize your information in accordance with applicable law, except where we need to keep it for legal or security reasons.

7. Your choices and rights

You can update or delete most information in Nestly directly from the app. Parents and guardians can manage family members, permissions, and connected accounts. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information. To make a request, please contact us using the information below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and notify you of material changes through the app or by email.

9. Contact us

If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact us at privacy@nestlyfamilyhub.app.
